Directions to AQNOWI & Worship Warfare Week Locations Location: First Presbyterian Church, Flushing, NY (150-20 Barclay Avenue) From New Jersey, 80E or 95N to George Washington Bridge: Triboro Bridge to Grand Central Parkway: From George Washington Bridge, follow 95N and exit at 87S (Major Deegan Expressway), then follow signs for Triboro Bridge. After the bridge, take the Grand Central Pkwy. (east) to exit 9E (Northern Blvd.). Stay to the right and take exit for Northern Blvd. Go east aprrox. 2 miles to Murray St. and take a right (@ GULF Station). Go 4 blocks to Barclay Ave. The church is the white building on the corner. 150-20 Barclay Ave. Throgs Neck Bridge to Clearview Expressway: From George Washington Bridge follow 95N to Throgs Neck Bridge. After bridge, it becomes 295S (Clearview Exp.). Exit @ Northern Blvd. and go west. Go to Murray St. and take a left (@ GULF Station). Go 4 blocks to Barclay Ave. The church is the white building on the corner. 150-20 Barclay Ave. Whitestone Bridge to Cross Island Parkway: From George Washington Bridge follow 95N to Whitestone Bridge. After bridge, go to Cross Island Pkwy. (south). Take the exit for Northern Blvd. and go west (approx. 2-3 miles). Go to Murray St. and take a left (@ GULF Station). From South Jersey, Brooklyn or Staten Island: From 95N, go to Goethals Bridge to Verranzano Bridge to Belt Pkwy. (east) to Cross Island Pkwy. (toward Whitestone Bridge). Take the exit for Northern Blvd. and go west (approx. 2-3 miles). Go to Murray St. and take a left (@ GULF Station). Take exit for Kissena Blvd. Go straight and take a left on 164th St. Go to the end and take a left and immediate right onto 162nd St. Go left @ first light (45th Ave). At 5 way intersection make a soft right onto Murray St. Go one block past next light to Barclay Ave. The church is the white building on the corner. 150-20 Barclay Ave. Long Island Expressway West: LIE (west) to 164th St. exit. Take a right on 164th St. Go to the end and take a left and immediate right onto 162nd St. Go left @ first light (45th Ave). At 5 way intersection make a soft right onto Murray St. Go one block past next light to Barclay Ave. The church is the white building on the corner. 150-20 Barclay Ave. Subway: Take the #7 train all the way to Main St., Flushing (last stop). Exit at the front of the train and take the escalator on the right. When you get to the top, turn around and go down the sidewalk. There is a bus stop for the Q12 bus directly behind the escalator. Take this bus for a aprrox. 10 minutes and get off at Murray St. (it is the next stop after 149t St.). Cross both streets (Sanford Ave. & Murray St.) and walk one block up Murray St. to Barclay Ave. The church is the white building on the corner. 150-20 Barclay Ave. Location: Pillars of Faith Tabernacle, Flushing, NY (33-15 Parsons Blvd.) From South Queens and Brooklyn: Belt Pkwy. to Van Wyck Exp. (north). Bear right. Exit at Northern Blvd. (east). Go 5 lights and take a left on Parsons Blvd. Go to 33rd Ave. Church is on right. 33-15 Parsons Blvd. (between 33rd & 34th Aves.). From Long Island: Take the Cross Island Exp. (north). Continue onto Whitestone Exp., (south). Bear right. Exit at 20th Ave. Make a left at the light. Proceed to Parsons Blvd. and make a right. Go to 33rd Ave. Church is on left. 33-15 Parsons Blvd. (between 33rd & 34th Aves.). Westchester and Bronx: Take the Whitestone Bridge to Whitestone Exp. Exit at 20th Ave. Make left at light. Get on Canal Street and go straight across the Manhattan Brigde. (About five blocks after bridge) Turn left onto Myrtle Avenue. Continue (about three miles) on Myrtle Ave. til Dekalb Ave. Turn left onto Dekalb Ave. Go straight and then turn left on Knickerbocker Ave. The park is on your right side 2 blocks. From Verazano Bridge: Take Belt Parkway East. Exit onto Pennsylvania Ave. Stay on Pennyslvania Ave. (about 3 miles) till the major intersection just after Atlantic Ave. Turn towards the left onto Bushwick Ave. (about 2 miles) Turn right onto Dekalb Ave. Then turn left on Knickerbocker Ave. The park is on your right side 2 blocks. From George Washington or Tappan Zee Bridge: Follow signs for Major Deegan South. Follow signs for Triboro Bridge to Brooklyn and Queens. Get on Grand Central Parkway. Take first exit right onto BQE - to Brooklyn. Take first exit to the right after Kosciusko Bridge. (Meeker Morgan exit) (do not follow LIE to Manhattan or Midtown Tunnel). Turn left at bottom of exit ramp. (Apollo St. will be the sign on your right). You will now be on Vandervoort St. Turn left onto Grand Ave. (1 mile). Make first right onto Varick Ave. At Flushing Ave. go left and go straight onto Irving Ave. The park will be about 6 blocks up on your right. From the Long Island Expressway: Go west and take Grand Ave. exit. You'll turn left onto Grand Ave. ItBEARS LEFT AFTER A FEW BLOCKS BECOMING Flushing Ave. Stay on it FOR A FEW MILES, and make a left onto Irving Ave. (the block before it is Wyckoff Ave.) The park will be about 6 blocks up on your right. From the Southern State Parkway: Take the SO. ST. West and then onto the Belt Parkway. Exit at North Conduit. When you get to Atlantic Ave. stay right and turn right onto Hale St. (about 4 blocks) Turn slight left onto Force Tube Ave. Go through the traffic light under the hill into the park. From Northern Parkway and Grand Central Parkway: Take Jackie Robinson Parkway to Cypress Avenue exit. At exit, turn right and then left onto Cypress Avenue (about 2 miles). Turn left onto Stanhope Street. (church is on right corner of Irving). Go past the church and turn right on Knickerbocker Ave. The park is on the right 5 blocks. Location: Moore Park, Elmhurst, New York (Broadway and 45th Ave.) From South New Jersey: Goethals to Verrazzano to Brooklyn Queens Expressway. From BQE to Long Island East to Queens Blvd. exit. Go west and turn right on Broadway. Go about 7 traffic lights. The park will be on the left side after the overpass. From North New Jersey: Take the George Washington Bridge to 95 North. Then take that to 87 South (Triboro) to Long Island Expressway. Take the L.I.E.WEST to Queens Blvd. exit. Take A RIGHT AT THE STOP SIGN, GOING west to right on Broadway. Go about 7 traffic lights. The Park will be on the left after the overpass. From Queens: Take the L.I.E. West/East to Queens Blvd. exit. Then take West ( TOWARDS MANHATTAN )to RIGHT on Broadway. Go about 7 traffic lights. The park will be on the left after the overpass.
