"This was and remains to be a pivotal experience in all of our lives as it completely changed the way we serve others, boldly share the love of Jesus and are always ready to answer His call. We are extremely thankful God gave us that opportunity to learn, stretch, and obliterate our preconceived ideas of the lost, the broken, & those less fortunate in that City of Nations!
Thank you SLM!" Barb (Ohio)

What does an internship with us look like?

Whether you’re just beginning to explore faith or looking to go deeper in your walk with God, join us for a meal, fellowship, worship, & the Word! Consider this a place where you can feel welcomed and "at home".
Our Mobile Resource Center is a vehicle to serve the homeless, hungry and poor on the streets of New York by providing a meal, socks, toiletries, and resources. "Thank you so much for coming. This is the only meal I am going to get today." This is often the response we get when we go. Poverty knows no race or color.
We are ordinary people who simply love God and are committed to reaching out to the hurting and poor of this city. Interested in learning more about who we are?
“You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.”
Street LIFE Ministries loves to do just that! Your donation helps us to give to those who have need. No gift is too small!
If we are the "light of the world", then we must be committed to going to the dark places. We bring the gospel to men and women in the LGBT community that feel alone, discarded, and rejected. We go to the women in the massage parlors and strip clubs who feel ashamed of what they do. We go to the homeless who are often passed by and forgotten by society. And for the ones from other religions such as Islam, Buddhism, or Hinduism, we break down their walls of defense through friendly interaction. It can be challenging to enter into somebody else’s world, but we must seize every opportunity that comes our way if we are to love people the way Jesus did.
"I was most moved when he told me how much he appreciated all my intrigue and authenticity." Click here to read about some friendships we have been forming with men in the Islamic faith.
